        HB 481, Georgia's new anti-abortion law, otherwise known as the Living Infants Fairness and Equality (LIFE) Act not only effectively outlaws abortion, it apparently also permits the arrests of the women who have them. Organizations dedicated to overturning Roe v. Wade have proclaimed that they want to protect pregnant women and that there is no intent to see them go to jail. As this video documents, however, both before the 1973 decision in Roe v. Wade and in numerous cases since that decision, women have been the targets of criminal investigations, interrogations, arrests, convictions, and incarceration.
